As a renowned licensed cosmetologist, Britainé specializes in multicultural hair care and beauty services. She is known for her flawless makeovers, luxury cosmetics line, and incredible hair transformations. Her passion for hair and makeup began at the age of 18. She molded her craft while obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications at Middle Tennessee State University. After graduating, she enrolled at Empire Beauty School, where she received her license in cosmetology in 2015.
Britainé is an award- winning, published artist with features on “The Knot, Essence.com” and in several magazines. She is originally from Memphis, Tennessee where she began pursuing her career full-time in 2016. Britainé fell in love with how her artistry makes every client feel inside-out! She takes pride in sharing her skills with aspiring makeup artists and everyday women by offering group classes and one-on-one training sessions.
With 20 years of experience in the industry, Britainé is known for creating Memphis’s first makeup artist competition called “The True Beauty Social and The MUA Beat Battle.” These platforms allowed artists and entrepreneurs to showcase their talents. She also launched her own cosmetics line in July of 2017, called “Britaine’ D’czyz Cosmetics.” By 2024, she renamed her line and brand to “BD Beauty.” Her line consists of various products, such as liquid lipsticks and mink eyelashes.
Britainé is a wife, boy mom, and lover of poetry and music. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She takes pride in offering upscale customer service. Her ultimate goal is to always encourage her clients to feel comfortable and confident!
